When: 10 am - 1 pm - Check-in will open at 9:30am. Warm-ups begin at 10:00am and the clinic concludes at 1:00pm.

Cost: $35 per camper

Event Description

On Saturday, June 17th, 2017, former Rutgers standout and current Chicago Bears fullback, Michael Burton is hosting Mike’s Knights football camp at his former High School in Chester, New Jersey. This one day event will raise funds to support children and families battling cancer, with all proceeds being donated to Mike’s Knights, a charitable initiative launched by Michael Burton in partnership with Embrace Kids Foundation.

The camp is for boys and girls between the ages of 5-14 and runs from 10:00am – 1:00pm on Saturday, June 17, 2017. All attendees will receive a T-Shirt, an autographed picture of Michael Burton and food & beverage after football activities are complete. The day will feature non-contact football drills and training tips. The price of the camp is $35 per camper.

Burton is entering his third season in the NFL and first with the Chicago Bears. He spent his first two seasons with the Detroit Lions after they selected him in the 5th round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Burton was named to Mel Kiper’s All Rookie Team and finishing with the 3rd highest grade among all fullbacks league-wide according to Pro Football Focus. After a strong four years at West Morris Central High School, Burton started as a walk on at Rutgers, but by his senior season the Long Valley, NJ native was named Team Captain. Burton was the winner of the 2014 Paul Robeson Award for performance, leadership and dedication on and off the field.
